The historically rich Glasgow Cathedral is an exceptional example of gothic architecture that has served as a place of worship for over 800 years. Explore where the patron saint of Glasgow, Saint Mungo, is believed to have built his church in the 6th century, and venture into the crypt where his tomb stands. As you walk through the aisles, marvel at one of the finest post-war collections of stained-glass windows to be found in Britain. Cathedral guides, identifiable by their blue robes, are happy to answer any of your questions or provide a tour. With an active congregation, the cathedral holds regular services you are welcome to join. Beautiful, colorful, helpful staff. I amazed how beautiful it was and the windows. While my visit, there was a online booking system that I should have book a slot then visit. But I was super fast and just took 2 min to book a slot. If you get cross, definitely visit

I've been to quite a few cathedrals in my life, but this visit stood out. The audio guide narrative was outstanding and I learned a lot - not just about Glasgow cathedral, but about cathedrals generally. I should also commend the staff who were friendly and helpful.
