  • This is a frequent morning/afternoon out for myself and my family. With it being local and us having English heritage it's makes the perfect walk when the weather is nice. The gardens are always lovely and well kept with plenty to explore and enjoy. The park is clean and tidy and plenty for little ones and big ones to play and climb on. Plenty of seating for picnic's and items from the cafe. Lovely little cart outside selling items too if the cafe is busy. Staff are always welcoming and friendly with many walking around ready to answer any questions. We've recently done the Easter trail (We do all trails during the holidays as they are a perfect excuse to visit) it was set up well with little games for the children to do. And the boards were very informative. Enjoying the recent steel/wire displays too with the boards explaining the meaning behind them. April the house opens up and that is just as lovely as the outside with staff in every room, very knowledgeable about the house and items within. As mentioned above it's just a lovely house and gardens to visit and definitely worth a morning or afternoon explore.
  • Lovely place to visit. Everyone in the shop and cafe friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Need to come back in the summer when the roses are flowering. It was lovely to see croquet being played on the lawns today. Finally managed to see inside the house. Lovely day.
