  • A lovely place is Beth Chatto but to actually go into the garden it was quite expensive. Amazing plants and it was fairly nice in the garden. The food from the cafĂ© was delicious but very big and filling. There were some weird bits in the water as well. Great day out and I recommend it if you are nearby.
  • Gardens are really good 5 star+ but admission prices have gone stratospheric. The gravel garden is no longer free either, Beth would not have approved and puts it off the map for a coffee stop off. A great shame as many will be deterred and perhaps it will not survive. At least blue badge NHS workers can visit free at certain times. Cafeteria could do better, perhaps organic range of and dried out cake could be better cut at time of sale! Needs some imagination to make it more attractive.
