Unsworth’s Yard Brewery, Grange-over-Sands

The brewery yard is is brilliant. The brewery and staff were very good/excellent. The staff where very knowledgeable about the beers and a great range. The beer is excellent and deserves its entry in the CAMRA good beer guide. The yard outside where you can get food from is also great. We were there over the Easter weekend and it was very busy but we managed to get served and get a table. There was music on most evenings and the Pizza and other food was cooked freshly and was absolutely brilliant. I spoke to the owner of the Cheese shop the following day and they have have a number of improvement planned to the outdoor space and are clearly passionate about everything they do. Can't recommend this place enough and also the wine shop next door who do great tapas and sharing plates. Amazing wine, single malt whisky and cognac. Take the credit card and enjoy

Fantastic selection of wines, cheeses and beer brewed on the premises. We had a selection of 4 very tasty cheeses complimented with 16 hour matured sourdough crackers and a beer each. This is a lovely hidden gem located in the wonderful Cartmel village. All products also available to purchase and take away.
