  • Good part of Windermere.. definitely would book it as part of your day as it doesn't take long to get around.. The afternoon tea with Peter Rabbit wasn't quite what it says on the tin. Somebody in a costume for 15 minutes at the front for photos then goes. The kids who was with us had been told it was Peter Rabbit's birthday so thought they would of been asked to sing happy birthday or something at least, the staff was really friendly and where you eat is nice. The food was a couple of tuna, ham, egg mayo and cheese quarter sandwiches. Some big pieces of cake, 2 buns and 3 scones some sausage rolls and a small bowl of crisps. Would I do it again? The Beatrix Potter world definitely The meal probably not.
  • It appears as a barn from the outside but every inch inside was used to display different settings and characters in a charming way. Halfway you can walk into a small garden. In the basement you'll find a cafe and restrooms and the shop at the end of the attraction has the best prices for lovely Peter Rabbit gifts. You'll find triple as much items here then in Hill Top shop.
