The Lake District Wildlife Park
Located in one of England's most outstanding areas of natural beauty, The Lake District Wildlife Park shelters several hundred animals. Spread across approximately 10 hectares (25 acres), the grounds' natural enclosures allow visitors to observe both domestic and exotic species, including gibbons, zebras, deer, birds of prey, and a variety of reptiles. The park regular hosts falconry shows and lectures about rare breeds of domestic animals. Families with small children can take advantage of tractor rides, an adventure playground, and animal feedings, which occur at regular intervals throughout the day. In addition to picnic and rest areas, the park also contains a small restaurant and gift shop. We spent the day here during the summer last year when everything was starting to open back up again. You can’t fault it if you have little ones that like animals. Definitely worth a visit.

To be honest I didn't expect much from this place. But I was proved wrong.... It's a working wildlife park, where getting close to and feeding the animals is the aim. Close to Keswick, easy to find and enjoyable. Reasonable entrance fee, clean, tidy and a good way to spend some of your day. I'll definitely come back.

Great day out, loads to do and see, good range of animals, brilliant park and a soft play area. Kids loved it! Only criticism is that they could do with more staff in the restaurant at peak times, staff in the restaurant were doing their best but as there were only a couple of them there was a long wait for food.
