Stock Ghyll Force, Ambleside

A beautiful waterfall walk which is a must if you are visiting Ambleside. The walk can be a little muddy after a heavy rainfall. The falls are well sign posted and you get many good views of falls in different stages of the walk to the top falls. The path is circular, just rejoining the main path near the bottom. Lots of great photo opportunities for still and videography.

Nice little gem 😊 It took us 1hr to walk with 2 kids , 6&9 yrs old. You can park up close by in any lay bays just ask at any shop for disc. It was a bit muddy but this is most enjoyable part for our kids 😆 We had loads planned and those Waterfalls were unexpected turn. To see my kids running up the hill, get muddy and simply happy is the best feeling. We have seen more spectacular waterfalls but this one was the most calming walk.
