Nyon — 4 nights

Nyon is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Step out of the city life by going to l'Arboretum du Vallon de l'Aubonne and Trail Vallee de Joux. Step out of Nyon with an excursion to Lac de Joux in Le Chenit--about 38 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: learn about winemaking at Domaine des Chantailles, explore the ancient world of Roman Columns, indulge in some personalized pampering at Institut de Beaute Above The Sky, and find something for the whole family at Signal de Bougy Parc Pre Vert.

Start off your visit on the 15th (Sun): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedrale de Lausanne, take a peaceful walk through Sauvabelin Forest, and then stroll through Plage des Pins. On the 16th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at Chateau de Chillon, go for a stroll along the water at Le Port d'Ouchy, and then examine the collection at The Olympic Museum Lausanne (Musee Olympique).
