Bern — 1 night

The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Thu): don't miss a visit to Clock Tower - Zytglogge, then identify plant and animal life at Barenpark, then admire the natural beauty at Rose Garden (Rosengarten), and finally wander the streets of UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern.

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
On the 8th (Fri), stroll the grounds of Mountaineers' Cemetery, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Matterhorn, then pause for some serene contemplation at Intercontinental Church Society, and finally examine the collection at Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis. On the next day, stroll through 5 Lakes Walk, take in panoramic vistas at Sunnegga, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Gornergrat.

You can take a train from Bern to Zermatt in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sat) so you can take a train to Interlaken.

Interlaken — 2 nights

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
On the 10th (Sun), take some stellar pictures from Harderkulm, then explore the activities along Lake Brienz, and then hit the slopes at Grindelwald-First. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the sheer force of Trümmelbachfälle and then fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour.
