Islamabad — 1 day

The country's capital since 1963, Islamabad has the look and feel of a planned administrative city because, by and large, that's exactly what it is.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Tue): examine the collection at Pakistan Monument Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Faisal Mosque, and then take a stroll through Saidpur Village.

Karachi to Islamabad is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus, train, and taxi. Traveling from Karachi in July, expect slightly colder with lows of 29°C in Islamabad. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Naran.
