Known for its Mediterranean climate and vibrant beach community, Salou serves as the tourist capital of the Costa Dorada.Get out of town with these interesting Salou side-trips: Museo del Vidrio de Vimbodi (in Vimbodi), Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey (in Montserrat) and Peniscola Castle (in Peniscola).
