Tromso — 2 nights

The cultural and economic hub of northern Norway, Tromso boasts a historical city center containing one of the highest concentrations of wooden houses in Europe.
On the 2nd (Tue), admire the natural beauty at Tromso Botaniske Hage and then get a taste of the local shopping with Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take an exotic tour of a safari tour.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Tromso is an approximately 20-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Dammam to Tromso. Traveling from Dammam in August, things will get cooler in Tromso: highs are around 16°C and lows about 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Wed) so you can catch the flight to Svolvaer.

Svolvaer — 3 nights

The largest town on the Lofoten Islands, Svolvaer serves as a good base from which to launch your tour of the archipelago.
Visit Haukland Beach and Uttakleiv Beach for some beach relaxation. Get in touch with nature at Lofoten Lights and Speed Boats Tours. There's still lots to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Tjeldbergtind and examine the collection at Lofoten Krigsminnenmuseum.

You can fly from Tromso to Svolvaer in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. August in Svolvaer sees daily highs of 18°C and lows of 12°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) early enough to fly to Bodo.

You can fly from Svolvaer to Bodo in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can ride a ferry; or do a combination of car and ferry. Expect a daytime high around 18°C in August, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
