Wholeheartedly dedicated to tourism, Hersonissos remains best known for its vibrant nightlife, its bars and clubs attracting partygoers from around the world.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Tue): indulge in some personalized pampering at Sisi Fish Spa Therapy, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Monastery of Kremasta, then delve into the distant past at Archaia Poli Tis Lato, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Agios Georgios Monastery. The place where Cretan and Venetian cultures merged in the 13th century, Chania Town attracts throngs of tourists with its well-preserved medieval harbor.
Step off the beaten path and head to Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada) and Souda Bay War Cemetery. Get some cultural insight at German Military Cemetery and Wine Tours & Tastings. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chania Town: Royal Octopus DIVE CENTER (in Kolymbari), Cretan Brewery S.A. (in Platanias) and Anoskeli Winery Olive Mill (in Anoskeli).
