Long a sleepy fishing settlement on Crete's northern coastline, Elounda today serves as a major travel destination, drawing vacationers with a blend of unspoiled natural scenery and luxury resorts.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Thu): don't miss a visit to Panagias Keras Church, delve into the distant past at Archaia Poli Tis Lato, then explore the activities along Lake Voulismeni, and finally step off the mainland to explore Spinalonga (Kalydon).
