Nestled on the western shore of Derwentwater, Portinscale serves as a perfect base for a walking holiday in the English Lake District.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Derwentwater and Catbells Lakeland Walk. Get outdoors at Muncaster Castle and Alpacaly Ever After. The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Castlerigg Stone Circle, stroll through Haystacks, take in the awesome beauty at Helvellyn, and look for gifts at Braithwaite General Store.
