You can drive from Trondheim to Oppdal in 2 hours. Traveling from Trondheim in June, things will get slightly colder in Oppdal: highs are around 15°C and lows about 4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 1st (Mon) to allow time for the car ride to Dombas.

The village of lies in the Dovre municipality and serves as an administrative center in the upper Gudbrandsdal, Norway. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Tue): take in the dramatic natural features at Besseggen, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Lom Stave church, and then see the interesting displays at Fossheim Steinsenter.
