Interlaken — 19 nights

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Venture out of the city with trips to Grindelwald (First Cliff Walk by Tissot, Grindelwald-First, &more), Aare Gorge (in Meiringen) and Giessbachfälle (in Brienz). The adventure continues: take a memorable tour with Tours, take some stellar pictures from Harderkulm, take in the dramatic scenery at Trümmelbachfälle, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Maennlichen.

Traveling by car from Geneva to Interlaken takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. While traveling from Geneva, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Interlaken, ranging from highs of 28°C to lows of 15°C. You will have some time to spend on the 18th (Thu) before leaving for home.
