Siesta Key — 2 nights

Siesta Key draws most of its visitors with soft, white-quartz sand beaches and translucent ocean water.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Siesta Beach and Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium. There's still lots to do: take a memorable tour with Tours, look for all kinds of wild species at Save Our Seabirds, examine the collection at The Ringling, and get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour.

Atlanta to Siesta Key is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of subway, bus, and taxi. In May, Siesta Key is a bit warmer than Atlanta - with highs of 87°F and lows of 68°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Naples.

Side Trip

Naples — 1 night

Kick off your visit on the 26th (Thu): take in nature's colorful creations at Naples Botanical Garden, then glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and then take a leisurely stroll along Naples Pier.

You can drive from Siesta Key to Naples in 2 hours. Another option is to do a combination of bus and taxi. Expect a daytime high around 88°F in May, and nighttime lows around 70°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Thu) so you can go by car to Marco Island.

Marco Island is a city in Collier County, Florida, United States, located on an island by the same name in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Southwest Florida. Start off your visit on the 27th (Fri): see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour and then enjoy the sand and surf at Keewaydin Island.
