Sanibel Island — 2 nights

Take a trip to Sanibel Island if you like pretty sunsets and luxurious resorts.
When in Sanibel Island, make a side trip to see Spas in Cape Coral, approximately Cape Coral away. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Bowman's Beach, cruise along Sanibel Causeway, enjoy the sea views from Sanibel Island Lighthouse, and identify plant and animal life at J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge.

Orlando to Sanibel Island is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. June in Sanibel Island sees daily highs of 91°F and lows of 74°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Tue) so you can drive to Captiva Island.
