Cowes — 4 nights

Resting on the northern coast of Philip Island, Cowes is sandwiched between a coast and a forest.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, Phillip Island Tenpin Bowling & Entertainment Centre, Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, and other attractions you added. Attractions like Koala Conservation Centre and Phillip Island Wildlife Park make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: get a dose of the wild on Wildlife Coast Cruises, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at The Nobbies Centre, stroll through Rhyll Trout and Bush Tucker Farm, and explore the fascinating underground world of Forrest Caves.

To see maps, more things to do, reviews, and more tourist information, read our Cowes trip tool.

Melbourne to Cowes is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of train and taxi; or do a combination of train and bus. In April in Cowes, expect temperatures between 23°C during the day and 12°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Fri) so you can drive back home.
