Ravenglass is a small coastal village and natural harbour in Cumbria, England roughly halfway between Barrow-in-Furness and Whitehaven. Attractions like Seascale Beach and Mellbreak make great kid-friendly stops. Next up on the itinerary: explore the historical opulence of Muncaster Castle, see the interesting displays at Roman Bath-house, identify plant and animal life at Giggle Alley, and explore the ancient world of Hardknott Roman Fort.
