Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Dedicate the 17th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Gallerie Degli Uffizi, see the interesting displays at Pitti Palace, snap pictures at Ponte Vecchio, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza della Signoria.
