Most visitors to Parga come because of the Ionian coastline's verdant landscape and traditional character.
Venetian Castle of Parga and Ali Pasha Castle are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Escape the urban bustle at Valtos Beach and Loutsa Beach. Go for a jaunt from Parga Municipality to Preveza to see Dolphin & Whale Watching about 1h 10 min away. There's lots more to do: explore the activities along Acheron, enjoy the sand and surf at Alonaki Fanariou Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Lichnos Beach, and stop by Panabeau.

Ioannina, often called Yannena within Greece, is the capital and largest city of Epirus, an administrative region in north-western Greece. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Parousia Byzantine & Contemporary Art Gallery and Ioannina Castle. Take a break from the city and head to Alpine Zone and Lake Pamvotis. Spend the 15th (Sat) exploring nature at Vikos – Aoos National Park. Kalambaka — 4 nights

The gateway to one of the largest monastery complexes in Greece, the small town of Kalambaka nestles against a landscape of imposing rock formations rising 400 m (1,300 ft) into the air. Nearly leveled during World War II, the town rebuilt and reinvented itself in the post-war period, quickly becoming one of the region's major travel destinations.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Meteora and Varlaam Monastery. Monastery of the Great Meteoron and Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada) are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Kalambaka: Porta Panagia (in Pyli) and Filoneikos (in Karditsa).
