Orlando — 4 nights

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Have a day of magic on the 6th (Tue) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 5th (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. There's still lots to do: find something for the whole family at Universal's Islands of Adventure, discover the magic at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and experience the excitement of Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Marathon — 2 nights

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Fri): pause for some serene contemplation at San Pablo Catholic Church, then see the interesting displays at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, then look for all kinds of wild species at The Turtle Hospital, and finally kick back and relax at Sombrero Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: identify plant and animal life at Looe Key Dive Center and then enjoy the sand and surf at Bahia Honda State Park.

Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from Marathon in December since evenings lows in Key Largo dip to 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Tue) so you can catch the bus to Everglades National Park.

Everglades National Park — 1 night
