One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.
Athens is known for museums, historic sites, and sightseeing. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: delve into the distant past at Acropolis of Athens, contemplate the long history of Ancient Agora of Athens, pause for some photo ops at Temple of Olympian Zeus, and admire the masterpieces at Benaki Museum.

You can drive from Athens to Nafplio in 2 hours. Another option is to take a bus. Traveling from Athens in February, expect Nafplio to be slightly colder, temps between 14°C and 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Monemvasia.

Kalambaka — 1 night

The gateway to one of the largest monastery complexes in Greece, the small town of Kalambaka nestles against a landscape of imposing rock formations rising 400 m (1,300 ft) into the air. Nearly leveled during World War II, the town rebuilt and reinvented itself in the post-war period, quickly becoming one of the region's major travel destinations.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Agios Stefanos, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada), and then make a trip to Meteora.

In February, Kalambaka is slightly colder than Delphi - with highs of 11°C and lows of 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) so you can drive to Thessaloniki.
