Corfu Town, Corfu — 3 nights

Often called "Kastropolis" because of its majestic Venetian castle, Corfu Town once featured such extensive fortifications that a force of over 20,000 soldiers defended them.
Venture out of the city with trips to Dive Easy (in Acharavi) and Bataria Beach (in Kassiopi). There's lots more to do: delve into the distant past at Old Fortress Corfu, make a trip to Spianada Square, explore the historical opulence of Mon Repos Palace, and take an in-depth tour of Archaeological Museum of Corfu.

The gateway to one of the largest monastery complexes in Greece, the small town of Kalambaka nestles against a landscape of imposing rock formations rising 400 m (1,300 ft) into the air. Nearly leveled during World War II, the town rebuilt and reinvented itself in the post-war period, quickly becoming one of the region's major travel destinations.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sat): steep yourself in history at Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada), then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Monastery of the Great Meteoron, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Meteora.
