On the 1st (Thu), tour the pleasant surroundings at Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach). On your second day here, enjoy the sand and surf at Porto Vromi Beach and then enjoy the sand and surf at Porto Limnionas.

Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Fri) early enough to go by car to Vasilikos.

Home to just a few hundred year-round residents, Vasilikos draws thousands of daily visitors with its beaches and restaurants during peak tourist season.

Skopelos — 5 nights

Known as one of the Aegean's greenest islands, Skopelos features a long coastline of fine beaches and an interior covered with verdant pine forests, olive groves, and plum orchards.
You'll get in some beach time at Paralia Kastani and Panormos Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Stafilos Beach and Alonissos Triton Dive Center. Get out of town with these interesting Skopelos side-trips: Chrisi Milia Beach (in Alonnisos) and National Marine Park of Alonissos and Northern Sporades (in Patitiri). Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Milia Beach and stroll through Agios Ioannis Beach.

Traveling by combination of flight and ferry from Vasilikos to Skopelos takes 8 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi, bus, and ferry. When traveling from Vasilikos in September, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Skopelos: temperatures range from 30°C by day to 24°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Mon) to allow time to ride a ferry to Skiathos.

Skiathos — 6 nights

Boasting some of Greece's finest beaches, Skiathos swells with vacationers from colder European countries at the height of the tourist season.
Get a sense of the local culture at Kastro Ke Medieval Ekklisia and Monastero di Panagia Evangelistria. Escape the urban bustle at Koukounaries Beach and Troulos Beach. There's still lots to do: stroll through Lalaria Beach, pause for some serene contemplation at Agios Nikolaos Church and Clock Tower, enjoy the sand and surf at Paralia Mikros Aselinos, and get a dose of the wild on Sail with a Dolphin.

Located just off the west coast of mainland Greece, Zakynthos enjoys a reputation as both a party destination and a family-friendly getaway. Packed with foreign tourists along its eastern and southeastern coastline, the island also features numerous tranquil pockets in its central region of forested mountains and rolling hills.
