Capital of Peace

Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Attractions like Lake Geneva and Room Escape Games make great kid-friendly stops. And it doesn't end there: ponder the design of The Geneva Water Fountain, get great views at Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre, examine the collection at Patek Philippe Museum, and stop by Chocolaterie Stettler.

London, UK to Geneva is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or do a combination of car and train. The time zone changes from Greenwich Mean Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. When traveling from London in June, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Geneva: temperatures range from 28°C by day to 15°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can go by car to Zermatt.

Zermatt — 3 nights

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Family-friendly places like Gornergrat and Sunnegga will thrill your kids. Change things up with a short trip to Pfarrkirche Ernen in Ernen (about 1h 20 min away). There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Matterhorn, don't miss a visit to Riffelsee, take in the dramatic natural features at Gorner Gorge, and go for a walk through Hinterdorfstrasse.
