The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Lake Zurich and Lake Lucerne. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Zurich: Mt Pilatus (in Kriens), Rhine Falls (in Neuhausen am Rheinfall) and Lucerne (Lucerne Station, Chapel Bridge, &more). Next up on the itinerary: take a stroll through Old Town, stroll around Lindenhofplatz, shop like a local with Bahnhofstrasse, and don't miss a visit to Hauptbahnhof.

The time zone changes from Gulf Standard Time (GST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -3 hour difference. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Abu Dhabi in July: high temperatures in Zurich hover around 30°C and lows are around 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sun) so you can catch the train to Bern.
