A rapidly growing city in central North Carolina, Charlotte is the state's largest urban center and a major regional hub for finance, industry, technology, and entertainment.
On the 16th (Thu), make a splash at Great Wolf Lodge Water Park, get thoroughly spooked out with a ghost and vampire tour, and then get in on the family fun at Carowinds. On the 17th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Levine Museum of the New South and then test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.
