Darwin to Brisbane is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Australian Central Standard Time to Australian Eastern Standard Time, which is usually a 0.5 hour difference. Traveling from Darwin in July, expect Brisbane to be little chillier, temps between 24°C and 11°C. On the 1st (Fri), you're off to Laidley.

Laidley — 3 nights

Laidley is a town situated in the Lockyer Valley of South East Queensland, Australia. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Summer Land Camels and Fordsdale horseback Adventures. When in Laidley, make a side trip to see Crows Nest National Park in Crows Nest, approximately Crows Nest away. There's much more to do: take an in-depth tour of Gatton and District Historical Village, make a trip to Laidley, examine the collection at Laidley Pioneer Village and Museum, and take in the exciting artwork at Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre.

Noosa — 2 nights

Known for its "green" development and north-facing beach, Noosa is a natural getaway.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Noosa National Park and Noosa River. Step out of Noosa to go to Mooloolaba and see Mooloolaba Beach, which is approximately 48 minutes away. It doesn't end there: stroll through Noosa Main Beach and relax and rejuvenate at Essential Bodywork.

Traveling by car from Laidley to Noosa takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 6th (Wed) to allow time for the car ride to Gold Coast.

In July in Gold Coast, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 13th (Wed) to allow time for the car ride to Brisbane.
