Sarasota — 7 nights

Sarasota is a city in Sarasota County on the southwestern coast of the U.S. state of Florida. Bring the kids along to Stump Pass Beach State Park and Room Escape Games. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Nokomis Beach and Bayfront Park. The adventure continues: glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, kick back and relax at South Lido Park, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, and get to know the resident critters at Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary.

Charlotte to Sarasota is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Traveling from Charlotte in June, Sarasota is a bit warmer at night with lows of 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Naples.

West Palm Beach — 3 nights

With a warm climate and sandy stretches, it's no surprise that West Palm Beach is a popular vacation spot.
Bring the kids along to Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Shark Addicts. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Scuba & Snorkeling and Sugar Sand Park. When in West Palm Beach, make a side trip to see Room Escape Games in Boca Raton, approximately Boca Raton away.
