Do your shopping at Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre and 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace. We've included these beaches for you: Burleigh Heads Beach and Coolangatta Beach. Explore Gold Coast's surroundings by going to Cape Byron Lighthouse (in Byron Bay), Fingal Head Lighthouse (in Fingal Head) and Brisbane (Queensland Art Gallery & Old St Stephen's Catholic Church (Pugin Chapel)). Spend the 27th (Sat) exploring nature at Burleigh Head National Park. And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Surfers Paradise Beach, browse the different shops at Robina Town Centre, examine the collection at Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Adelaide to Gold Coast is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll lose 0.5 hours traveling from Adelaide to Gold Coast due to the time zone difference. When traveling from Adelaide in August, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Gold Coast: temperatures range from 25°C by day to 11°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Thu) early enough to catch the flight to Port Douglas.

A holiday in Port Douglas balances an activity-filled getaway with plenty of opportunities to relax, thanks to its proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and bustling beach life.
