Halifax, Canada to Chamonix is an approximately 22.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also do a combination of flight and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 5 hours traveling from Halifax to Chamonix. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Wed) to allow time to drive to Zermatt.

You can drive from Chamonix to Zermatt in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
