Sitting on the Mediterranean coast, Beirut, the country's capital and largest city, has plenty of appeal itself, as well as offering a convenient base for exploring the country's other sights and cities.
On the 27th (Sat), pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Saint Nichan des Armeniens Orthodoxes. On the 28th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Banque Du Liban Museum, examine the collection at Nicolas Sursock Museum, then wander the streets of Badaro, and finally explore the ancient world of Al-Omari Mosque.
