Castleton is a village in the High Peak district of Derbyshire, England, at the western end of the Hope Valley on the Peakshole Water, a tributary of the River Noe, between the Dark Peak to the north and the White Peak to the south. Take a break from the city and head to Peak Mountaineering and Peak Cavern. When in Castleton, make a side trip to see Lyme Park in Disley, approximately Disley away. Next up on the itinerary: Head underground at Treak Cliff Cavern, appreciate the views at Cave Dale, explore the striking landscape at Winnat's Pass, and identify plant and animal life at Poole's Cavern & Buxton Country Park.

Cockermouth is an ancient market town and civil parish in the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria, England, so named because it is at the confluence of the River Cocker as it flows into the River Derwent. Start off your visit on the 10th (Sat): examine the collection at J.B.Banks and Son Ltd, then examine the collection at JB Banks & Sons, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Alpacaly Ever After. On your second day here, explore the activities along Buttermere Lake and then admire the landmark architecture of Wordsworth House and Garden.

Aviemore is a town and tourist resort, situated within the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. Get some cultural insight at The Old Packhorse Bridge and Carrbridge Artists Studio. Visiting Cairngorm Reindeer Centre and RZSS Highland Wildlife Park will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Aviemore: Blair Castle & Gardens (in Blair Atholl) and Highland Folk Museum (in Newtonmore).
