For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.

Chicago to Orlando is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Chicago to Orlando due to the time zone difference. In March, Orlando is warmer than Chicago - with highs of 78°F and lows of 58°F. On the 13th (Fri), you'll travel to Tampa.

Tampa — 1 night

Tampa ranks among the country's most livable cities, attracting newcomers with its growing economy and status as a major port on the Gulf of Mexico.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Sat): pause for some photo ops at 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial, get in on the family fun at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and then have some family-friendly fun at Axe Throwing Tampa. Here are some ideas for day two: see what you can catch with a fishing tour.

Drive from Orlando to Tampa in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In March, plan for daily highs up to 77°F, and evening lows to 59°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Naples.
