Valletta, Malta — 2 nights

Malta's capital city, Valletta preserves most of its medieval architecture, built in the 16th and 17th centuries by the Knights Hospitaller, once a powerful military order.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Fri): admire the landmark architecture of St. John's Co-Cathedral, explore the world behind art at Casa Rocca Piccola, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Upper Barrakka Gardens. Keep things going the next day: take in the dramatic natural features at Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja), get to know the fascinating history of Mdina Old City, then get outside with Corsair Diving Malta, and finally take in nature's colorful creations at Palazzo Parisio & Gardens.

Strasbourg, France to Valletta is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Strasbourg in September, expect Valletta to be a bit warmer, temps between 33°C and 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Sun) to allow time for the flight to Paros.

Long ignored by tourists because of its reputation as a plain ferry hub, Paros today serves as one of the Aegean's major holiday destinations, luring travelers with its fashionable resort towns and quaint mountain villages.
On the 19th (Mon), see the interesting displays at Folklore Art Museum Of Cycladic Civilization Benetos & Popi Skiadas., get engrossed in the history at Archaeological Museum Parou, and then contemplate the long history of Lefkes. On the 20th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: go for a stroll along the water at Old Port of Naoussa, then pause for some serene contemplation at Panagia Ekatondapiliani, and then head off the coast to Parikia Town.
