Marco Island — 2 nights

Marco Island is a city in Collier County, Florida, United States, located on an island by the same name in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Southwest Florida. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to South Marco Beach and Frank E. Mackle Park. You'll get in some beach time at Keewaydin Island and Cape Romano. Take a break from Marco Island with a short trip to Museum of the Everglades in Everglades City, about 42 minutes away. There's lots more to do: zoom along the surf with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and get engrossed in the history at Marco Island Historical Museum.
