Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Los Angeles: Anaheim (Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, &more). Pack the 11th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at The Getty Center, take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier, stroll through Santa Monica Bay, and look and learn at Griffith Observatory.
