In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Honolulu is known for historic sites, wildlife, and sightseeing. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: stroll the grounds of USS Arizona Memorial, steep yourself in history at Battleship Missouri Memorial, take an in-depth tour of Iolani Palace, and discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Lahaina, Maui — 3 nights

Once the booming capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the tropical paradise of Lahaina still remains one of Maui's top vacation attractions, providing both culture and recreation.
Step out of Lahaina to go to Wailuku and see Iao Valley, which is approximately 44 minutes away. Spend the 23rd (Sun) exploring the striking scenery along Hana Highway - Road to Hana. There's still lots to do: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, enjoy the sand and surf at Ka'anapali Beach, walk around Lahaina Banyan Court, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Maui Ocean Center.

Fly from Honolulu to Lahaina in 2.5 hours. October in Lahaina sees daily highs of 84°F and lows of 73°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Wed) to allow time to fly to Koloa.

Kōloa is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in Kauai County, Hawaii, United States. Change things up with these side-trips from Koloa: Waimea (Waimea Canyon State Park & Koke'e Mountains), Na Pali Coast State Park (in Wainiha) and Hanalei Valley Lookout (in Hanalei). There's lots more to do: get outside with Outdoor Activities, kick back and relax at Poipu Beach Park, tee off at Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course, and take in the dramatic scenery at Opaekaa Falls.
