Geilo is a centre in the municipality of Hol in Norway, in the valley of Hallingdal, with around 2,300 inhabitants. Attractions like Slaatta Skisenter - Geilo Snowsports and Hemsedal Ski Centre make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Hemsedal (Hemsedal Tourist Office & Solheisen Ski Center), Golsfjellet Alpinsenter (in Golsfjellet) and FjordSafari (in Flam). There's still lots to do: ski along the peaceful trails at Vaset Skiheiser, hike along Round Trip of Tisleifjorden Golsfjellet, relax and rejuvenate at Dr. Holms Spa, and explore the activities along The Ustedalsfjord.
