Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
Step out of Sydney to go to Manly and see Shelly Beach, which is approximately 36 minutes away. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of The Rocks, tour the pleasant surroundings at Manly Beach, take in the pleasant sights at The Opera House to the Botanic Gardens Walk, and admire the natural beauty at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

Nelson Bay to Sydney is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. In March, daytime highs in Sydney are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Wed) early enough to travel to Moama.
