Bihac — 2 nights

Bihać is a city on the River Una in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Bosanska Krajina region. Start off your visit on the 20th (Thu): admire the landmark architecture of Seosko Domacinstvo Cardaklije and then contemplate the waterfront views at Una National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 21st (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Fethija Mosque and then explore the historical opulence of Ostrozac Castle.

You can drive from Sarajevo to Bihac in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Sarajevo in January, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Bihac, with lows of 0°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Fri) so you can go by car to Mostar.

Famed for its 16th-century bridge, Mostar boasts a rich cultural and architectural heritage.
