Kathmandu — 4 nights

Once synonymous with the mysterious and inaccessible Shangri-La, today Kathmandu draws an ever-increasing number of tourists, catering to independent travelers of various budgets.
Kathmandu is known for historic sites, spas, and adventure. Chennai, India to Kathmandu is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and car. The time zone difference moving from India Standard Time to Nepal Time is 0.2 hours. Traveling from Chennai in February, you will find days in Kathmandu are a bit cooler (26°C), and nights are much colder (7°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Sat) to allow time to travel to Sauraha.

Sauraha — 2 nights

The tourist town of Sauraha stands on the edge of the Chitwan National Park and acts as the eastern gateway to a World Heritage-protected area.
On the 6th (Sun), explore the striking landscape of Chitwan National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take an exotic tour of a safari tour and then explore the activities along Narayani River.

Getting from Kathmandu to Sauraha by combination of car and flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or drive. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Kathmandu in February: high temperatures in Sauraha hover around 30°C and lows are around 14°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Mon) so you can catch the flight to Pokhara.

Pokhara — 3 nights

Pokhara, the second largest city in the country, attracts visitors with its superlative natural wonders and easygoing atmosphere.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Tue): relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, admire the sheer force of Devi's Fall, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Peace Temple. On the next day, take in the spiritual surroundings of Barahi temple, then contemplate the waterfront views at Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake), and then get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

You can fly from Sauraha to Pokhara in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Sauraha in February, plan for a bit cooler days in Pokhara, with highs around 26°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 10th (Thu) to allow time for the flight back home.
