Scharding, Austria — 2 nights

Scharding is a town in northern Austrian state of Upper Austria, the capital of the district of the same name, and a major port on the Inn River. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Scharding: Wels (Tiergarten & Zoo Schmiding), Burgruine Schaunberg (in Eferding) and Engelszell Abbey (in Engelhartszell). There's lots more to do: join the crowd at Weg im Schloßpark, steep yourself in history at Wassertor, get outside with Baumkronenweg, and take in the exciting artwork at Kubin-Haus Zwickledt.
