St. John's Cathedral is a prime example of Gothic architecture. Built from 1220 to 1530, this Catholic church has operated as a place of worship for multiple denominations over the years. The church has undergone three rounds of restorations, the most recent finishing in 2010. Admire the 25 angel statues that were added, including one dressed in jeans and holding a mobile phone. Beautiful stain glass and church had such magnificent carving around the organ pipes and the pews were also so decoratively crafted no photos to be taken inside but just beautiful to visit

This Cathedral is amazing from the beginning you can see its Gothic style from the outside and inside --however, back on the days was more Romanesque but it was demolished =( --. You can walk for most of the places inside. as It is Gothic the combination between dark places and lights, makes it perfect contrast. the main tower has 74 meters and this make it the highest church in The Netherlands.
