We spent a very pleasant afternoon in the Maritime museum. The displays were good, the cafe nice but the best bit was wandering the replica large trading ship. You can access most spaces on the ship and get a feel for the size quarters and conditions. Well worth a visit.

We enjoyed the architecture, the life-sized replica of the sailing boats, the art the general feeling of being in one of the most amazing maritime nations ever to have existed on Earth. The locker rooms were great. A little surprising to find them under ground and so very modern.
