Originally built in 1408 to accommodate the town's growing number of church-goers, today De Nieuwe Kerk houses art exhibitions in its spacious interior. A fire destroyed most of the original structure, which was subsequently rebuilt in the Gothic style. In addition to its regular program of temporary art exhibits, events, and concerts, the church also hosts Dutch royal investiture ceremonies and royal weddings. The place is nice, audio service provided is good, but it has very little to see. I would prefer bigger museums. Still it has history and audio id really good

Loved the World Press Photos of the year absolutely stunning. Wasn’t expecting it when I got to the church but what a treat it was! Highly recommend going to it if you able to do much insight and just so much emotion. Really beautiful.
