Admire Thailand's natural beauty at Erawan National Park, where the jungle and waterfalls draw visitors from all over the world. Wade in the emerald green ponds of the waterfalls here, and try to make out the shape of an elephant's head in the rocks at the top of the falls. Be on the lookout for wild animals like monkeys, monitor lizards, elephants, and boar. Bird watchers look up to spot species like the crested serpent eagle and the black-nap monarch. Restaurants, bungalows, and a campground are all available on site. For Erawan National Park and beyond, use our Si Sawat vacation planner to get the most from your Si Sawat vacation.

  • Best thing we did in our month travelling Thailand. So incredibly beautiful and amazing to swim in. However I recommend staying over night in Kanchanaburi as the drive to Bangkok took about 4 hours...

  • Must go place. My tips would be: - Go in your swimming trunks or something you are comfortable getting wet in. - Wear comfortable shoes that are waterproof, can easily be removed and are easy to hike in, crocs or sandals maybe. - Take some life jackets with you. - Do take a dip in water or swim, lots of people do it. - Kids can easily go till Level 3, beyond that is tough. - Go on a weekday, and early during the day to avoid rush It is mesmerizing and calming and beautiful. The higher up you go, the lesser people you see and the prettier the fall becomes.
  • Erawan National Park is a great place to visit. There are 7 levels of waterfalls which we could access in the park. It took us some effort to go to the top but it was rewarding. The park was kept clean by the staffs. A small amount of 20 baht deposit is collected by the park rangers at level 2 of the hike to prevent people from littering water bottle in the park, which is a great initiative. The water was so clear that we could see fish swimming in it. Don't forget to take a dip in the water, it's refreshing! This is definitely a highlight of our trip in Thailand.
